5 Acts You Absolutely Can’t Miss at Camp Bisco
Camp Bisco is approaching, and those heading to Montage Mountain are getting pumped for a stacked lineup featuring headliners like Odesza, RL Grime, and the eponymous Disco Biscuits. But any seasoned festival-goer knows that it’s about more than just the headliners, so here are 5 additional acts that you absolutely can’t miss at Camp Bisco.
1. Dreamer’s Delight
Appropriately named for the ethereal quality of his sound, Dreamer’s Delight will be a, well, delight to listen to. His mellow tunes are perfect for Bisco’s beachy, water park setting, yet the basslines give it a touch of heaviness to keep the crowd dancing.
Rezz is crushing it on the scene right now, and the fact that she’s representing for the ladies makes me love her even more. Rezz produces a unique version of dance music that’s dark and haunting and I’d sort of love to see her score a horror film.
Gibbz will be playing not one, but two sets at Bisco, one in the afternoon and one late at night. So whether you’re the kind of person who gets there right when the doors open or the kind who stays until they kick you out, you’ll have an opportunity to check out his smooth, soulful synth-pop. But be warned: you will catch a case of the feels.
A fellow Brooklynite, Esseks brings a ton of bass but weaves it with hip hop, house, and a variety of other genres to create something truly unique. If we’re lucky, Esseks will grace Camp Bisco will some of his visual art as well as his music.
5. Late Night Radio
The first time I saw LNR live, I turned to my friend and asked, “Is he from Colorado?” He is. There’s something about vibrant, Colorado electro-funk that makes me wildly happy, and I’m excited to get my Late Night Radio boogie on.
