Crowd Goes Crazy For Borgore at Terminal 5 (2/18)
That was one sick night. I mean, if you weren’t there at Terminal 5 on Saturday, you missed a hell of a show! The show took place at Terminal 5 in NYC. Starting promptly at 9pm, it was a night I’d never forget. I knew that when I missed Borgore at Electric Zoo, I made a big mistake. At festivals, it’s difficult to prioritize DJS since they’re all great!
When he released his tour shortly after Electric Zoo, this was my time for redemption! I had the pleasure to celebrate with my friends. When we got there, it was smooth sailing. We walked all the way from Time Square to Terminal 5. We didn’t know what to expect but we were ready for it. Crazy or not, we were in there!
Ray Vope and Prince Fox Headline at Terminal 5
You had me at Ray Vope. He had my undivided attention. My ears were ready! As the first to perform at the show, he made his presence known and kicked it off! His lovable personality meshed well with the crowd. His musical range was expansive. Primarily dubstep, the music was consistent. It kept the blood flow moving. The venue was filled with energy. Everyone was really liking Ray Vope! He dropped his remix of Ritual, by Marshmello, an acapella of Fall Out Boy’s, Sugar We’re Going Down & the list goes on. I give it a 10/10.
What did Prince Fox say? Shortly after Ray Vope, Prince Fox put his heart into his set. He live mixed You and Me, In The Name of Love, Need You remix by YOOKiE. Prince Fox also dropped an exclusive mashup. With the instrumental of Welcome To The Black Parade and the acapella of Coco, Prince Fox left the crowd either in awe or confused. Once the drop hit, then it made sense. Prince Fox’s future house influence shinned through his set.
Spontaneously, he also crowd surfed throughout the venue! When getting back on stage, his genius was showing. Prince Fox mash-ups have never been done before. His mash-up of Turn Down for What and Never Gonna To Give You Up was memorable. Yes, we’ve been Rick Roll’d. Before Borgore came out, Prince Fox released one of his new songs at the end of his set. Be on the lookout for it! And now for the one and only!
Borgore at Terminal 5
Hey kids, it’s Borgore! When he took the stage, the whole venue shook. I’ve heard mixed reviews about Borgore. His songs are raw and bold. It’s what makes me respect him as a DJ and personality. Yes, he’s crazy but who wouldn’t want to be there? Some reviews were that he didn’t play a consistent set or that his performance wasn’t there. I was happy I got to experience it first hand.
His memorable monologue started and we were in Borgore’s world. It was insane. He started out with some heavy bass. I must admit, there wasn’t a lot of head banging on the rail! My friends and I managed to get to the rail and before we knew it, he mixed both Throwing Elbows and The Paradox. He mixed his songs in an order which wasn’t back to back. From Nympho, Decisions, 100’s and Forbes, He also debuted his new song, Harder. Borgore played a killer set, it was an amazing way to enjoy my Saturday!
