EDCLV 2017 Top 4 Sets with Lexi Williams
When my friends told me that EDC Las Vegas was one of a kind, I underestimated them. I didn’t know what I was getting myself into. When I stepped into the entrance of the speedway, I felt at peace. It was an unforgettable moment. Filled with love, care, and acceptance, I felt safe. I felt at peace. Over 140,000 people attended this year. People traveled from all points of the world. I’ve never experienced anything like that before. Under the Electric Sky, the feeling was euphoric. Being around people I love, made the experience much more enjoyable. I really loved EDCLV.

My EDCLV Experience
This year was my first EDC Las Vegas and partying from dusk til dawn. Aside from the 3-hour shuttle wait, the overall experience was nothing short of an amazing time. The energy in the Las Vegas Motor Speedway was cosmic. The thing that was memorable to me was the following sets and here’s why. I can sit here all day and tell you about all of the amazing experiences but here are the top three sets that I will never forget for my first EDCLV!!
My Top #4 Sets Of EDCLV 2017
There were three sets throughout the whole festival that spoke to me. It was the whole reason I made EDC Las Vegas happen this year.
Coming in at #4 was Martin Garrix.
My best friends and I managed to get to the rail for Martin Garrix. GTA was playing before Martin Garrix came on. The design of Kinetic Field was jaw-dropping. Aside from Bass Pod, that had to be one of the most beautifully coordinated stages I’ve ever seen. When he came on, he opened up with a mashup of his songs from the year. Then, he transitioned to Animals. The set was amazing and so many people showed love and support for Martin Garrix.

Coming in at #3 was Axwell Ingrosso
I managed to get to the front for Axwell Ingrosso at Circut Grounds. It surprised how I got to the front because Circut Ground is overcrowded from a distance. They played their singles from I Love You Feat Kid Ink, More Than You Know, Renegade, Calling, Sun is Shining and throwbacks from when they were in Swedish House Mafia. I remember seeing them at Ultra and they gave me the same feeling. Their visuals were amazing alongside with their music choice. When On My Way came on, I began to cry because that song managed to get me through so much in the past year and especially hearing it in Vegas. It brought me so much joy.

Coming in at #2 was Porter Robinson
Boy, did he give us a light show! I missed Porter Robinson at Electric Zoo and his performances with Madeon when he was touring in 2016. Cosmic Meadow was filled to full capacity with a powerful introduction. People all over Cosmic Meadow were in complete awe. He played favorites such as Shelter, Frest Static Show, Sad Machine, Divinity and so many others to name.

EXCISION KILLED CIRCUIT GROUNDS
Last but not least was the one and only #1 Excision.
It was an extremely hard decision whether to choose Marshmello or Excision. Only because Marshmello was a brief introduction to EDM for me. Excision won that battle because I’ve seen Marshmello three times, Excision one time. His performance was sp powerful that by the time Robo Kitty came on, he glitched the system. Robo Kitty couldn’t even play because of the intensity of his music, visuals etc. He F**cking killed it! Since Robo Kitty couldn’t play, he played Mosh Pit He brought out Dion Timmer and Datsik for their song Harambe and remixed head banger and made the crowd go insane. All of Circuit Grounds was filled with head bangers. It was something else. He closed out to Throw Your X Up.
