[Listen] Everettz Releases 2 New Tracks with Tiny Waves & The Untz
Portland-based producer Everettz has been making waves in Portland and surrounding states since early 2016. He is known as Asher Sundrud and is a local favorite in Portland, but also in Salt Lake City. He began building his brand in Salt Lake City and recently played the biggest EDM festival in Utah, Das Energi, surrounded by friends and the likes of artists at the scale of Diplo and Zedd.
This past week Everettz dropped 2 new killer tracks: Descent and Arrival.
Descent was released on Orlando-based record label, Tiny Waves. The track features a soothing guitar melody throughout the song that leads to an incredibly well-done transition to some darker notes. The entire song sounds very crisp and is the kind of track you’d hear not only at a club, but also on like a video game soundtrack.
Listen to Descent below.
Bay Area EDM website, The Untz, is where Asher’s 2nd release from last week, Arrival was debuted. Dark Rezz-y vibes are all over this track, making it a surefire festival banger. Check out what Asher had to say about the inspo behind the track below:
“I love her sound and the dark atmospheres she’s able to create, and I wanted to put my own spin on her sound.” – Everettz on the Rezz inspo
Listen to Arrival below.
Although Everettz could be considered a newcomer to the scene, he already has a number of achievements under his belt. In addition to playing at Das Energi festival this year, he has opened for EDM giants such as Zomboy, Ghastly, and even Valentino Khan. Asher often headlines shows at Sky SLC, and plays shows in the states surrounding Oregon and Utah.
In addition to original music, he has a number of remixes on his plate of releases. One of my personal favorites is his flip of Breathe Carolina’s popular track, Blackout. Listen below!
We definitely hope to hear more from Everettz in the near future. He’s definitely on the radar, so watch for upcoming tour dates from him soon.
