Flux Pavilion and Spag Heddy Take Dallas
This past Saturday night, Dallas Stereo Live was filled with rail breakers.
Flux Pavilion is an English DJ best known for his songs “Savage”, “Feel Your Love”, and “Catch Me”.
Spag Heddy is an artist that has proved the phrase “dubstep is dead” wrong. At just 28 years old and over a hundred of tracks, this Spanish DJ has secured a spot in the EDM limelight for years to come.
As a first time attendee for shows in the Dallas area, to say that I was impressed is an understatement. For a city that is still growing their EDM scene and rumored to be the next big EDM Capital, Stereo Live did a phenomenal job putting together a show with the most incredible crowd I’ve been around yet. The energy and vibes in that room were indescribable. There was non-stop dancing and head banging while there was not one person in that room who wasn’t moving or chanting.
To anyone out there doubting or unaware of the Dallas EDM scene, I highly recommend you go to a show in this city and experience one of the wildest shows of your life because EDM music is growing here. With events like Sun City Music Festival, Lights All Night, Ultimate Music Experience, and Day for Night, they have helped transform Texas into a hub for EDM.
Although Texas EDM festivals don’t bring in the amounts of people festivals like Escape, EDC, Beyond Wonderland, and Hard Summer, due to the fact that all those big named festivals are controlled by Southern California, Arizona, and Las Vegas, Texas has big potential in the years to come.
Check out a small recap below of a video I recorded during Flux Pavilion’s number one headbanging hit “Feel Your Love.”
