Global Dub Festival Announces Filthiest Lineup To Date
We already knew that Global Dance was known for its top-notch events, but they might have really outdone themselves this time. The creators of Decadence Colorado and Global Dance Festival have another festival, and a big announcement was just made in terms of its 2018 event. Last week, the lineup for Global Dub Festival was officially released, and it’s bigger and better than ever.
This year will mark Global Dub Festival‘s seventh year. It will take place Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the infamous and traditional spot, Red Rocks Park & Amphitheater. Red Rocks, located in Morrison, Colorado, is the perfect place for an event like this. Denver is known for being the world’s “bass capital”, so where better to hold a strictly dub event than right here in its most beloved venue?
The lineup for Global’s bass-infused event this year is pure perfection from top to bottom. Heading up the lineup are two dubstep heavy-hitters: Ganja White Night and Zomboy. But the womps don’t stop there! Supporting these incredible headliners are Boogie T b2b Squnto, Eptic, AFK, Spock, and more to be announced.
Coming to us all the way from Belgium, Ganja White Night is a duo that has been quickly on the rise. Consisting of Benjamin “Bamby” Bayeul and Charlie “Erwan” Dodson, these two create a distinct wobble sound that makes their tracks stand out among others in their genre. Though this will be their first time headlining at Red Rocks, they are certainly no strangers to playing at big events. They played lots of incredible festivals this year, including Shaky Beats, Bonnaroo, Moonrise, and even Global Dance Festival.
Zomboy, also known as Joshua Mellody, is a Denver favorite, and is sure to bring in lots of fans to the Rocks for his set alone. In October he played two back-to-back Denver shows during his “Rott N’ Roll” tour because the first one sold out so quickly. Headlining this Red Rocks festival is a huge step for him also. After an amazing year in 2017, he completely deserves this incredible spot on the lineup. His drops are the filthiest in the game, and are sure to take Global Dub Festival to a whole new level.
There are seven incredible artists on this year’s Global Dub lineup, which means seven reasons why you need to get your headbanging self to Red Rocks this May. Tickets are already on sale here.
Don’t sleep on this one, friends. The bass capital needs your help riding those Red Rocks rails!
