House of Creatives Music Festival 2016 | Event Review
On the white sandy beaches of Miami Beach a new festival was born, its the first of its kind in its region, MISHU presents – House of Creatives Music Festival. The two-day festival took place at the Bandshell Park this pastNovember 18 & 19. This unique festival was a collection of creative in the arts and music who pushed boundaries to deliver a whole new cultural movement to Miami.
You are surrounded by beautiful luscious palm trees, and sand. The festival was set up with two stages one on the beach and the MainStage. As well as an array of art installations, gourmet food selections, local artisan vendors with some of the most beautiful treasures for yourself, and live art, creating a fully immersive cultural experience for everyone. Catching everyone’s eye and intriguing them. Getting an education about the local artists and creators of Miami.
Not to mention the incredible lineup, bringing all genres to the festival, giving everyone what they want in music, ranging from indie-rock, electronic, and pop music. Bringing creative musical magic acts such as, Crystal Castles, Breakbot, Empress Of, Small Black, Ghostly International DJs (Shigeto, Beacon, Shallou), Kevin Garrett, Jean Tonique, and The Drums – who blew everyone away with their incredible set. One of the best parts was to experience and get a taste of some of the local Miami musicians.
As well as from Long Beach, CA indie rock heavyweights Cold War Kids headlined day 1 and closing the show with their headlining performance – The Flaming Lips. Slaying the city of Miami with great performance after the next, bringing joy, smiles, and good vibes to everyone. House Of Creatives Music Festival was small, but an extremely fun festival, can’t wait for next year, See you there!
