Life in Color: Kingdom Preview
When the announcement first hit that Life in Color was coming back to Buffalo, New York I was absolutely thrilled, and apparently that feeling is mutual in the Buffalo EDM community. Within two days of going on sale, the early bird tickets have completely sold out, and Tier 1 tickets for Kingdom are selling fast. One can tell the desire to rave is strong within the community, not only from seeing the quick-selling tickets, but also the fact the DJ hasn’t even been announced yet.
With 62 days to go before the event on September 16th, all attending are eagerly waiting to see who winds up spinning in the Queen city, and those on the fence about going surely want to know even more. The prior summer’s Life in Color event in Buffalo, World’s Biggest Paint Party, delivered on every level with Adventure Club spinning like you couldn’t believe. The EDM community really came together at the Outer Harbor venue, dancing through two encores in the fickle late summer wind blowing in from Canada right off the lake.
Life in Color: Kingdom looks to be a celebration of freedom and dreams, a celebration of nature in many ways perhaps, and as usual for Life in Color, an absolute buffet of color and culture. I have some of my most vivid memories of EDM at Life in Color events and no doubt expect this event to be one of the highlights of this summer. This year’s event is already estimated to be larger than last summer’s and I can’t stress enough that you should get your tickets now if you’re thinking of attending.
No matter the DJ, I can’t wait to see the event this year. With a date in September instead of August this year, the temperature might be a bit lower, but the intensity will be even higher.
