Lightning In A Bottle Phase 1 Lineup Has Been Released

Lightning in a Bottle, also known as LiB, is on its way back to Bradley, California once again with a whole new set of artists!

The DoLab, the incredibly inventive company that helps run Dirtybird Campout and takes their stages to festivals like Coachella, are the creators of Lightning in a Bottle. Unlike many mainstream festival companies, instead of focusing on acquiring larger named artists to perform at their event, The DoLab is more focused on creating an experience within the entire festival, day to night. That being said, however, their LiB line-up never fails to impress the public because of a large number of new artists people can discover.

So I humbly present to you, LiB’s 2018 Phase 1 lineup!

In 2018 we see a mix of new and returning artists. New on the list we see people like Anderson .Paak, The Black Madonna, and Krane. Some familiar faces who have graced the decks of LiB before are The Glitch Mob, Dirtwire and Tokimonsta. As I mentioned before, DoLab likes to highlight up and coming artists that are less known to the electronic community- and that’s one of the best parts of the whole festival! So people such as Gone Gone Beyond, Nu:Logic, and Loney Boy will probably be getting some new fans in May.

In regards to the festival grounds and stages, Lightning in a Bottle is divided into three larger stages and four smaller ones. The ‘Lightning’ stage acts as the main stage, the ‘Thunder’ stage is for the heavy bass headbangers, and the iconic ‘Woogie’ is a house and techno lovers heaven. For the smaller stages, there is the ‘Grand Artique’, where they set up a small Western town on the edge of the festival called Frontierville. There, you get to enjoy all sorts of different genres of music, visit the bartering booth where you can only barter for items, and play a game of poker with a local town member. There are also the ‘Pagoda’ and ‘Favela’ Bars- both of which might as well be just like larger main stages. The Pagoda Bar is usually a stage where bass artist go to perform and the Favela Bar is for house artists. These stages are always poppin’ and filled with good vibes. Sometimes these stages are even a place where larger known artists go to play surprise sets. Lastly, the newest stage is called the Compass (A.K.A. The Beacon), which debuted at Coachella 2017. Various artists play there as well as it also being a spot where different talks, discussions, and workshops take place. More learning and interactive experiences like those are held at other structures across the festival too, such as The Learning Kitchen. Aside from these, there are also a handful of other random, fun activities to do around the festival, so stay tuned to hear more about those!
