Noiselab Releases New Courses For Ableton Users To Play Around With
The online music production learning platform, Noiselab, is offering its community of Ableton users and electronic musicians a new series of courses! It has rapidly become one of the top sites for aspiring and established producers, making the LA-based company expand their course library to provide more hands-on content for their users and a new behind-the-scenes series, where successful producers break down their craft and teach students key techniques in electronic music production.
What is Noiselab?
Noiselab was launched in March of 2017 by Patrick Felder and Rob Dey. The two musicians have founded several online education platforms, including DJ Courses Online, Coder Manual, and Upskill Courses. Since launching the program earlier this year, Noiselab has enrolled over 5,000 students, providing a community of Ableton producers and electronic musicians educational content in electronic music production, including online courses, video tutorials, and project templates. So… What’s The Deal?
Today, Noiselab is excited to release, In The Studio, with Grammy nominated producer, STINT, the first in a new series of producer courses.
Noiselab and STINT will take its students behind the scenes through the process of writing and the production of Gallant’s single “Weight In Gold, from the Grammy nominated album, Ology. Students will get an inside look at how the track was composed, including lessons on the composition, production and rhythmic elements through the drums, synths, guitars, vocals, and effects.
STINT says that the course is the first of its kind that he’s done in his career.
“It’s incredibly comprehensive and will probably tell you everything you’ve ever wanted to know about “Weight In Gold” and my production techniques. There are some useful tips in there that will hopefully help out Ableton users, but also some discussion about songwriting that can apply to any and all musicians.”
Patrick Felder, the co-founder of Noiselab, also shares that he’s very excited to start creating and releasing educational content from the music producers that are getting a lot of industry buzz at the moment.
“We feel it’s best to learn directly from those making a living out of what they do, and there’s just so much insider knowledge and tips that these producers have acquired over years of experience. We want to share these insights and secrets with aspiring producers to help them get on their feet quicker.”
Besides the founders and the producers, there have been lots of users that have benefitted from this program!
“I had already some experience myself with Ableton, music production, and sound design, however I have found that the approach your courses offer helped me fill out some holes in my knowledge about Ableton. I think that the courses are well structured and things are explained clearly.” – Andrea
“Overall, I think this might be the best site I’ve ever encountered for learning about Ableton. Thavius is an awesome instructor. I’m really looking forward to seeing what else you guys come up with for classes.” – Mike
“Been using Abelton for about 3 years now (alot of remixes and drum chop beats) all self taught, and Thavius is answering almost every single question I have ever had about what items are and how to apply them. It’s incredibly gripping for me, and beaing able to just stop and mess with an idea he just mentioned is HUGE. Thank you so much for offering these courses.” – Jeep
