Paul van Dyk Announces His Return to the Decks
Paul van Dyk announced on Facebook today he will return to the decks for the first time following his fall from an ASOT festival stage nearly three months ago. The trance legend fell off the elevated main stage at the ASOT festival in Utrect on February 27. He was hospitalized for a concussion as well as a few cracked vertebrae.
Van Dyk will play the Dreamstate stage at the 20th anniversary of EDC Las Vegas.
Posting a heartfelt thank you note to all of his fans, supporters, and those who have helped him make a speedy recovery. We have all been waiting for his return and last month, van Dyk promised he hinted it would be in June.

“I am incredibly excited to confirm that my first performance will be for Dreamstate at EDC Las Vegas!” Paul said in the post.
Paul is no stranger to circling the globe 16 times every year and entertaining in excess of 3 million music lovers as he goes. Playing upwards of 150 shows annually, he spends a full 2 months of every 12 in the air traveling to and from events.
Throughout his career PvD has picked up many coveted nominations and awards. Among those are the illustrious Landesverdienstorden (Berlin’s Medal of Honor, given in recognition of his work combating social injustice), a string of IDMA’s, an MTV’s Chiuku (agent of change) award and many more.
