Ringing In 2018 At Decadence Colorado
There are few better places for a raver to spend their New Year’s than Decadence Colorado. This is one of Denver’s most popular EDM events, and for good reason. Between the killer lineup, amazing stage setup, and top-knotch vibes, Decadence brought in 2018 the best way possible.
Decadence Colorado is put on by Global Dance, AEG Presents, and Live Nation. It took place this year at the Colorado Convention Center in downtown Denver. It was both December 30th and 31st, with artists beginning around 6:30PM and wrapping up around 3am.
This year’s festival setup was similar to last year’s. There were two “main stages” that hosted larger acts. These stages were called “Time Vault” and “The Grid”. There was also a smaller stage in the middle called the “Cyber District” which was home to the infamous Silent Disco. On this stage, lots of local favorites spun house, dubstep, and everything in between. Mixed in throughout the entire event space were art installations, merch tables, bars and food carts. No one at Decadence went unsatisfied!
Now, time to talk about the infamous Decadence lineup. This year’s bill included just as impressive acts as ever. On night one, acts such as Bassnectar, Diplo, and Louis The Child stunned fans upon their return to the Mile High City.
Night two was the big countdown. Artists included Zedd, Bass Physics, Porter Robinson, Borgore, Armin van Buuren, Bro Safari, Galantis, and many more. Coming in with the big countdown sets were Odesza on the Time Vault stage and Morgan Page on The Grid stage. Decadence followed the tradition of releasing hundreds of balloons and confetti the second the clock struck midnight. It was nothing short of one of the most magical moments of the year!
For those who didn’t get to attend Decadence this year or in previous years, we would strongly suggest checking it out in the future. Between the amazing artists, attendees, and decor, it was the perfect way to ring in an amazing year. Happy 2018 Mixers!
