Spring Awakening Music Festival Announces Phase One Lineup
It’s only February, but the 2018 festival season is already shaping up to be one of the best.
Many festivals are expanding and adding more stages to accommodate more festival-goers. However, what usually makes a festival especially stand out is a top-notch lineup. We’ve already been ooh-ing and ahh-ing at some of the killer artists signed on for this year’s festivals. We thought we’d surely seen all the gawk-worthy lineups out there, but then Spring Awakening Music Festival dropped a phase one lineup completely out-of-this-world.
And yes, you heard us right, it’s the phase one lineup. Which means there’s even more to come! However, this lineup seems good enough already.
The first part of the lineup was announced by stage, so we can already get somewhat of a feel for the structure of the festival as a whole. Both main stages, known as Solstice and Equinox, will host a variety of genres, which is a neat aspect of this festival. The Solstice Stage will host heavy-hitters as well as up-and-comers. Playing this stage will be Steve Aoki, Kaskade, Borgore, Seven Lions, Dash Berlin, 3Lau, Tritonal, and more. The Equinox Stage will also have some big names from all over the genre spectrum. Playing here will be Zeds Dead, Big Gigantic, Alison Wonderland, Deadmau5, Virtual Self, Nghtmre, JOYRYDE, and more. The festival also announced six branded stages, including Bass Kitchen and Trance Arena.
Spring Awakening will take place June 8-10 at the Adams-Medill Park in Chicago, Illinois. This festival is known for its killer lineups, as well as stellar after parties in the heart of the windy city. You can purchase a pass with a payment plan for all three days by just putting $80 down for GA, $118 down for VIP. The phase two lineup is coming in hot next week, so hurry and grab your pass while you still can!
