The Icon David Bowie Remembered

The world went into a shock on Monday with the news of the passing of a 70’s legend.

Everyone remembers the icon, legend David Bowie for different reasons. It may have been the fashion he brought to the forefront of each appearance introducing the glam punk era or the classic movie you could not get out of your childhood seeing 50 times where he played the Goblin King in Labyrinth. Later, realizing when you are an adult how obscenely awkward and crazy that movie really is but you have to have your kids see it cause, its a classic. You may just remember him from your parents talking about him and showing you his performances and style.

For those who have grown up watching this amazing, game-changing man we saw someone who was not afraid to step out of the norm and push the envelope while in his Ziggy Stardust alias then into The Thin White Duke. Call it the psychedelic times of the 70’s or just pure talent and mind-blowing artistic, genius mind. David Bowie will always be remembered however you see him, if not for his music defiantly for his style and unwillingness to conform.

Watch Bowie on Conan O’Brien’s “Late Night” through the years and see the man in his true form.
