NCAA March Madness expert Andy Katz has updated his picks for the remaining games in the 2024 DI men’s basketball tournament. In a recent video update, Katz shared his predictions for the Elite Eight, Final Four, and national championship game.
In the East region, Katz foresees No. 1 seed UConn defeating No. 5 San Diego State and No. 3 Illinois triumphing over No. 2 Iowa State. He predicts UConn will ultimately emerge victorious over Illinois in the Elite Eight.
Moving on to the West region, Katz believes No. 1 North Carolina will advance over No. 4 Alabama and No. 2 Arizona will beat No. 6 Clemson. Katz predicts an Arizona victory over North Carolina in the Elite Eight.
In the South region, Katz anticipates No. 1 Houston prevailing over No. 4 Duke and No. 2 Marquette besting No. 11 NC State. He predicts Marquette will ultimately defeat Houston in the Elite Eight.
In the Midwest region, Katz picks No. 1 Purdue to advance over No. 5 Gonzaga and No. 2 Tennessee to beat No. 3 Creighton. Katz believes Purdue will defeat Tennessee in the Elite Eight.
For the Final Four, Katz predicts UConn will beat Arizona and Purdue will beat Marquette. In the national championship game, Katz ultimately picks UConn to come out on top against Purdue.
