Texas-based company Ocean Infinity has announced that they have scientific evidence pointing to the final resting place of missing Malaysian Airlines flight MH370. The company has submitted a proposal to the Malaysian government for a new search in the southern Indian Ocean.
The proposal includes a “no-cure, no-fee” search, where payment will only be required if a positive outcome is achieved. Ocean Infinity CEO Oliver Plunkett has expressed determination to bring resolution for the families of the 239 people on board the flight, which vanished in 2014 while flying over the South China Sea.
Malaysia’s transport minister has expressed confidence that the government will approve the proposal to resume the search. The company is currently analyzing data to narrow down the search area and hopes to start the search soon, following a previous unsuccessful search in 2018 that covered over 112,000 square kilometers.
The search for MH370 has been a long and difficult process, with multiple parties involved in the investigation. Ocean Infinity’s proposal offers new hope for finding the missing plane and providing closure for the families of the passengers and crew members. Stay tuned for updates as the search efforts progress.
