Former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan found himself in hot water after pleading guilty to trespassing in a restricted thermal area of Yellowstone National Park. The Hollywood star was exposed on an Instagram account dedicated to catching tourists breaking park rules.
Brosnan was ordered to pay $1,500 to the US Attorney’s Office, which included a community service contribution and a fine. Fortunately for the actor, additional citations for violating park closures and use limits were dropped as part of a plea deal.
During the hearing, Brosnan called in and issued an apology on his Instagram account, stating that it was an “impulsive mistake” and expressing his deep respect for the environment and the natural world. The actor was visiting Yellowstone for pleasure at the time, not for work.
Despite this incident, Brosnan was recently spotted filming a Western movie titled “Unholy Trinity” in Montana. It seems that the actor is keen on making amends and moving forward from this misstep. Stay tuned for more updates on Pierce Brosnan’s adventures and projects.
