Apple fans rejoice as the tech giant is finally set to introduce a long-awaited feature for the iPad. According to a source familiar with the matter, Apple is planning to include a Calculator app in the upcoming iPadOS 18, which is expected to be revealed during Apple’s WWDC on June 10.
The lack of a built-in Calculator app on the iPad has been a hot topic among users for years, with many taking to social media to express their desire for the feature. In the absence of an official app, iPad users have had to rely on third-party calculator apps available on the App Store.
In addition to the Calculator app, reports suggest that macOS 15 will also see a revamped version of the calculator, possibly based on the new iPad app. The revamped calculator is expected to feature integration with the Notes app and other new features.
The first beta of iPadOS 18 is anticipated to be released shortly after the WWDC keynote, with a wider release scheduled for September. Fans are eagerly awaiting the update, which will finally bring a much-requested feature to the iPad.
Though the addition of the Calculator app is sure to please users, there are still hopes that popular apps like Instagram and WhatsApp will also be made available for the iPad in the future. Apple continues to listen to user feedback and work towards providing a seamless experience for all of its customers.
