Sony recently unveiled its upcoming lineup of Bravia models, set to hit the market in 2024. The new range includes mini-LED TVs with local dimming zones, OLED models, soundbars, and speakers.
In an effort to make it easier for consumers to navigate their product offerings, Sony has streamlined its model names and consolidated them under the Bravia brand. This move is intended to simplify the shopping process and help customers better understand the different options available to them.
One of the standout products in the new lineup is the Bravia 9 mini-LED LCD model, featuring a brighter backlight and more zones for enhanced picture quality. Additionally, OLED models are also included in the range, catering to those seeking top-of-the-line display technology.
Pricing for the new Bravia models will vary based on size, with the Bravia 9 starting at $3,299 for a 65-inch TV. To ensure accurate picture settings, autocalibration modes have been introduced for the 7, 8, and 9 series.
In addition to TVs, Sony has also introduced a range of Bravia soundbars, speakers, and a unique neckband audio system called Bravia Theater: U. The soundbar lineup offers options with Dolby Atmos, HDMI eARC, optional surrounds, and multiple drivers for immersive audio experiences.
The Bravia Theater: Quad speaker system is designed to bridge the gap between traditional multispeaker setups and soundbars, providing users with a versatile audio solution. On the other hand, the Bravia Theater: U neckband audio system features upward-firing drivers, allowing for personal audio enjoyment without disturbing others.
