TCL Unveils New Pro Tablets with Next-Gen NXTPAPER 3.0 Display Technology
TCL, a leading electronics manufacturer, revealed its latest innovation at CES 2024 by showcasing its new 14- and 10-inch pro tablets featuring next-generation NXTPAPER 3.0 display technology. These tablets aim to provide users with a unique and comfortable reading experience, bridging the gap between e-readers and tablets.
The highlight of these tablets is the 14-inch 2.8K display, which incorporates TCL’s NXTPAPER 3.0 technology. This cutting-edge technology is designed to replicate the natural paper-reading experience, reflecting how the human eye reads printed text. The display filters out up to 61 percent of blue light, making it easier on the eyes during prolonged use. Additionally, the tablets offer a brighter display with Circularly Polarized Light (CPL) screen technology, enhancing the overall visual experience.
To further address eye comfort, TCL has integrated DC dimming into these tablets to reduce flickering effects, ensuring a seamless viewing experience. The tablets also boast impressive refresh rates of up to 120Hz, maximizing the smoothness and responsiveness in tablet mode.
TCL’s Eye Health Assistant is another remarkable feature that reminds users to reduce screen brightness, promoting healthy viewing habits. Furthermore, the tablets come with three different viewing modes to cater to individual preferences. Monochrome mode, for instance, offers stripped-down icons and white backdrops for easier reading.
While the exact pricing details are yet to be revealed, TCL has confirmed that the NXTPAPER 14 Pro will be available in the United States early this year. This tablet is highly anticipated by tech enthusiasts, and its arrival is expected to reshape the tablet market.
